Siberian Husky Puppies for Sale in Singapore

4.9 from 65 Google reviews

A Husky in Singapore costs $5,088 to $6,088 at Curious Tails, all-in, against a top local listing of $7,000 to $15,000. The honest part next, and this page means it more than any other: Huskies are not HDB-approved, and an Arctic athlete at one degree north is a serious daily commitment. The real cost of a Husky was never the price tag. It's the routine.

From $5,088 all-in. Private housing only. No add-ons quietly billed later.

Can you keep a Husky in an HDB flat? No

The Siberian Husky is not on the HDB-approved breed list, and no licensing route changes that. HDB flats may keep one dog of an approved small breed; condos and landed homes may keep up to three dogs, subject to the estate's own rules. This one made the news: a husky had to be rescued from a 35th-floor HDB flat - the rule exists for the dog's sake as much as the neighbours'.

If you love the wolf look at a smaller scale, the Pomsky is the half-size remix, though as a husky cross it is also private-housing only. HDB readers should see the approved-breeds guide; private-housing readers, the reality check below is the real gate on this page.

Read HDB's guidelines on keeping pets

The housing rules, straight

  • HDB flat: Husky not approved, no exceptions we can promise
  • Condo / landed: up to three dogs (AVS limits of ownership)
  • Pomsky: the smaller remix, still private-housing only

The Reality Check: An Arctic Athlete at One Degree North

Search this breed in Singapore and half the results are adoption and rehoming posts. That is not a coincidence; it is the after-photo of impulse purchases, and it is why this section sits before any selling. The Husky was bred to pull sleds across Siberia, and the engine came with the eyes: this breed needs 60 to 90 minutes of genuinely athletic exercise, running, cycling alongside, proper hiking, every day, in our early-morning and evening cool, for twelve-plus years. A walk around the block does not count, and the dog will tell you so through your furniture. Want the look in a smaller frame? The pomsky is a Husky and Pomeranian cross, and still needs private housing.

Add the climate contract: an aircon-centred home through every Singapore afternoon, a double coat brushed religiously and never shaved, and honest vigilance for heat stress. The owners who thrive with Huskies here are runners and cyclists with private housing who wanted a training partner; for them this breed is a joy that no other quite matches. If that's you, welcome; the rest of this page is yours. If it isn't, we'll say so kindly and point you somewhere honest - the Jack Russell is the HDB-legal athlete, at a tenth of the logistics.

Who Genuinely Thrives With a Husky Here

From two years of interviews with Husky hopefuls, the homes that work share four traits: private housing with secure fencing (this breed treats gaps as invitations), a human athlete who already runs or cycles at dawn, reliable aircon through the afternoons, and neighbours, or distance from them, that can absorb the occasional howled opinion.

We ask about all four before we talk about puppies, and we'd rather lose the sale than see our dog in next year's adoption posts. That's the whole policy.

Good fit if

  • You already run or cycle, mornings, daily
  • Private housing with secure fencing
  • Aircon afternoons are non-negotiable to you too

Husky Temperament: Friendly, Free-Spirited, Full Volume

Past the reality check, here's the dog people fall for, and rightly: the Husky is one of the friendliest large breeds in existence, delighted by strangers, children and other dogs alike, with zero guard-dog suspicion in its body and a sense of humour that generates most of the internet's best dog videos. It is affectionate without being needy, pack-oriented, and endlessly entertaining.

The quirks come with the package. Recall is theoretical: a running Husky does not hear you, so leashes are for life. Escape artistry is genetic: doors, gates and fences all get audited by a professional, and we do that audit with you on delivery day. And the voice: Huskies rarely bark, they howl and "talk", conversations owners treasure and estates hear. None of this trains out; all of it channels, and the free first lesson starts that work.

Arctic shelf-mates: the Samoyed is the people-fused extrovert to the Husky's free spirit; the Pomsky is the look at half scale with a gentler routine.

Husky Size, Coat and Lifespan

Honest numbers for the Arctic athlete.

Husky Size, Coat and Lifespan
TraitWhat to expect
Adult weightRoughly 16 to 27 kg of lean sled-dog muscle; females run lighter
HeightAround 51 to 60 cm at the shoulder
CoatThick double coat; black, grey, red and agouti with white; eyes blue, brown, amber or one of each
Lifespan12 to 14 years; a notably sound working breed
Exercise60 to 90 minutes of athletic work daily, strictly in the cool hours
Shedding & allergiesHeavy, with serious twice-yearly blows; the wrong breed for allergy-sensitive homes

The famous eyes deserve their footnote: blue, amber, brown and bi-eyed are all standard-issue Husky, none rarer or "premium" whatever a listing implies, and every combination comes with the same routine printed above.

Husky Price in Singapore (October 2026): What You'll Pay and What's Included

How much is a Husky in Singapore? Checked in October 2026: the top-ranking local listing quotes $7,000 to $15,000. Ours is $5,088 to $6,088, all-in.

Typical Singapore market

  • Top listing quotes $7,000 to $15,000 for a Husky
  • Hype pricing on eye colour and "rare" coats
  • No exercise or climate honesty before purchase
  • Starter supplies, training and delivery charged separately

Curious Tails

  • $5,088 to $6,088, printed right here
  • $500+ starter kit with 30+ items included
  • Free home delivery with playpen setup and an escape-proofing check
  • Free first lesson with an AVS-certified trainer, plus free boarding after deposit

Why is our price a third of the market's top quote? Because we don't price hype, and we'd rather spend the difference on matching this breed to homes that keep it. Compare inclusions on our transparent puppy pricing page, and budget the routine with the first-year puppy budget guide.

The $500+ Starter Kit Every Husky Goes Home With

Every Husky leaves us with a starter kit worth $500 and up: more than 30 items across eight categories, a playpen, a carrier, grooming tools, puppy food, outdoor gear, toilet training supplies, oral health care, and toys. For this breed the harness and leash are primary equipment, they'll log more kilometres than any other breed's, and the brush signs the coat contract from week one.

On delivery day, Nelson or Kim walks you through every item, plus the Husky special: an escape-proofing walk of your gates, fences and door habits, because prevention beats posters. Most of the questions new owners would otherwise ask later are answered before we leave your home.

See the full 30+ item kit breakdown, category by category.

Husky vs Pomsky vs Samoyed: The Arctic Shelf

Three Arctic looks, three different deals. The Husky is the full athlete: maximum engine, maximum independence, the training-partner breed. The Pomsky is the look at half scale with a genuinely gentler routine, though still a private-housing cross with real energy. The Samoyed trades the free spirit for people-fused devotion, similar coat contract, opposite attachment style.

All three are private-housing breeds with the tropical coat rules, and with us the price, the starter kit, and the aftercare are identical across the shelf. The choice is honest self-assessment: how much engine, how much independence, how much coat.

Message us your routine and we'll match you to the right amount of Arctic.

Quick comparison

  • Husky: full athlete, free spirit, howls
  • Pomsky: half scale, gentler routine, still private housing
  • Samoyed: people-fused, same coat work, warmer soul

Grooming and Heat: The Arctic Coat Contract

The Husky coat contract matches our other Arctic breeds: brush 3 to 4 times a week down to the skin, daily during the two annual blows (which are biblical), dry thoroughly after rain, and never shave, a maintained double coat insulates against our heat, a shaved one wrecks the system and invites sunburn. Between blows the Husky is surprisingly self-cleaning; the workload is rhythm, not filth.

The heat rules ride along: athletic work before 9am or after 6pm only, aircon or serious ventilation through every afternoon, water everywhere, and know the emergency signs - relentless heavy panting, a very dark tongue, wobbliness. Cool water on the body, aircon, vet, in that order.

Husky Health: What We Check Before You Take One Home

Every Husky goes home vet-checked, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped, and here's the breed's good news: generations of honest working selection made the Siberian Husky one of the soundest medium-large breeds in existence. The short watch-list: hips, standard for the size, met with joint-friendly puppyhood and lean weight; and eyes, where juvenile cataracts run in some lines, worth asking about, as we do.

Feeding is simple and famously economical, sled dogs convert food efficiently: your puppy comes with the food it is already eating, and any change should be gradual over a week. See the puppy health checks explained guide.

Your Husky’s First Week at Home

Day 0: we deliver, free, at a time that suits you, and for this breed the setup includes the escape audit: gates, fence lines, door habits, balcony access, checked together before the puppy explores. The playpen, bed, water, and toys are ready first. Learn more about how our free home delivery and setup works.

Days 1 to 3: keep it calm and structured. A fixed feeding routine, the toilet pads where we placed them, and short play sessions; the engine arrives before the training does, so channel it gently from the start.

Days 4 to 7: the routine sticks, and the two lifelong habits begin: the cool-hours exercise slot enters the family calendar permanently, and the free first lesson with an AVS-certified trainer gets booked, non-negotiable for a dog headed to 25 kilograms of enthusiasm. See what the free AVS-certified training lesson covers.

Siberian Husky FAQs

Can I keep a Siberian Husky in an HDB flat?

No. The Husky is not on the HDB-approved breed list, and we won't pretend otherwise - a husky was literally in the news after being rescued from a 35th-floor HDB flat, which is the cautionary tale in one headline. Condos and landed homes may keep up to three dogs. And if you love the look at a smaller scale, the Pomsky exists, though it is a husky cross and also not HDB-eligible.

How much is a Husky in Singapore?

A Husky in Singapore costs $5,088 to $6,088 at Curious Tails, all-in. We re-checked the market in October 2026: the top-ranking local listing quotes $7,000 to $15,000, so ours is well under it, and that price already includes the $500+ starter kit, free home delivery and setup, and a free first training lesson with an AVS-certified trainer. The real cost of a Husky was never the price tag anyway; it is the daily routine, and we would rather you budget for that.

What is the Husky price in Singapore right now?

As of October 2026, a Siberian Husky puppy at Curious Tails is $5,088 to $6,088, full price in writing. We will also say the unhelpful thing: being the cheapest Husky in Singapore is not the reason to buy one from us. If the daily routine below does not fit your life, the right answer is a different breed at any price.

Why is a Husky cheaper here than the top listings?

Because the hype is priced into those listings and not into ours. A Husky is a striking dog with a strong social-media pull in Singapore, and a seller who knows that can quote accordingly. We would rather set a fair number and spend the conversation on whether the breed suits your housing, your climate tolerance and your exercise habits, because that is what determines whether the dog stays.

What does a Husky cost in the first year, beyond the purchase price?

This is where the real money is. Food for a 16 to 27 kg working dog, vaccinations, sterilisation and routine vet care are the baseline. On top of that, a Husky at one degree north needs a genuinely climate-adapted routine: early and late walks, sustained air conditioning, and professional grooming for a double coat that must never be shaved. Many owners also pay for daycare or a walker, because an under-exercised Husky redecorates. Our first-year puppy budget guide sets out the numbers.

Is Singapore too hot for a Husky?

Liveable, with the full contract honoured: an aircon-centred home through every afternoon, athletic exercise strictly in the early morning and evening cool, a properly brushed and never-shaved double coat, and honest vigilance for heat stress. That is a serious, daily, 13-year commitment, and most households who ask us this question honestly cannot make it - which is exactly why we ask it back.

How much exercise does a Husky need?

A genuine 60 to 90 minutes of athletic exercise daily - running, cycling alongside, serious hiking - in the cool hours, every day, for over a decade. This breed was built to pull sleds across Siberia; a stroll around the block is a warm-up it politely ignores. Under-exercised Huskies dig, chew, howl and escape, in roughly that order.

Do Huskies bark?

Rarely - they howl, "talk", and broadcast opinions instead, sometimes at impressive volume and length. Husky owners find the conversations charming; neighbours vary. If you live wall-to-wall with noise-sensitive neighbours, factor the soundtrack in honestly.

Why are so many Huskies rehomed in Singapore?

Because the eyes sell the dog and the routine keeps it, and too many buyers get the first without planning the second. Search this breed locally and half the results are adoption posts - that is the after-photo of impulse purchases. This page is written the way it is so that our Huskies never join them: if the reality check reads like your actual lifestyle, wonderful; if not, we'll happily match you to a breed that fits.

What happens after I reserve a Husky?

You place a deposit, and we board your puppy for free, food and lodging covered, until you're ready. Delivery is scheduled around your availability, and we set up the playpen and walk you through all 30+ starter-kit items before we leave, including an escape-proofing check of gates, fences and doors.
