Puppy home delivery Singapore: carrier with an apricot Cavapoo arriving at an HDB doorway on delivery day

What does proper puppy home delivery include?

Puppy home delivery, done properly, is three jobs in one visit: transporting the puppy safely in a secure carrier, setting up its space so the playpen, bed, water, and toilet area are ready before the puppy explores, and briefing the owner so the routine is clear before the door closes. It should be scheduled around the family, not the shop.

That is exactly what comes free with every Curious Tails puppy, anywhere in Singapore. Delivery is scheduled around your availability, usually mornings or evenings, and it is Nelson and Kim who turn up, not a courier.

Setup Comes First, Always

The order of operations matters more than it looks. We assemble and place the playpen before your puppy is let out of the carrier, so the first thing it meets is a ready territory: bed, water, toys, toilet area, all in position.

Placement follows the same rules in every home: out of direct afternoon sun, away from the aircon's draft, near where the family actually spends its time. In an HDB flat or a compact condo, those few metres of difference decide how fast the settling happens.

Not Ready Yet? We Board Your Puppy Free

Renovations overrun. Trips were booked months ago. A puppy should not arrive into a half-painted flat or an empty house, so after your deposit we board your puppy free, lodging and food both covered, until you are genuinely ready.

There is no daily charge quietly accruing and no pressure to take delivery early. When your home is ready, we schedule the delivery around your availability and your puppy comes home to a calm start.

It is one of the inclusions that make our transparent puppy pricing read the way it does: $2,888 to $4,488, with the awkward gaps already handled.

What to Prepare Before Delivery Day

Honestly, not much; that is the point of the service. Clear a corner of the living room for the playpen, roughly two by one metres, and think about where the family spends its evenings, because that is where we will suggest the pen goes.

Keep the delivery day itself light. A quiet home beats a welcome party: the puppy has one big job that day, and it is settling, not entertaining visitors.

If there are children, brief them before we arrive: calm voices, gentle hands, and let the puppy come to them. Everything else, the equipment, the food, the setup, arrives with us.

Your 4-item prep list

  • Clear a corner near family activity (about 2m x 1m)
  • Keep the day visitor-free and unhurried
  • Brief the kids: calm voices, gentle hands
  • Have your questions ready; the walkthrough is for them

The First 24 Hours After the Van Leaves

Bringing a new puppy home goes best when the first day is boring. Let your puppy explore the playpen at its own pace; the space already smells of its bed and toys, which is exactly why we set up before letting it out.

Feed the same food it came with, at fixed times, and keep handling gentle and short. Some whimpering on night one is adjustment, not distress; a comfort toy in the pen and a consistent response shorten it.

By day two or three the routine starts to hold, and the week-by-week puppy care guide takes it from there. The big food brands' puppy homecoming checklists agree on the fundamentals: continuity, calm, and patience.

  • Had such a wonderful experience bringing home our new furry family member from Curious Tails in Balestier. Honestly, Nelson and Kim couldn't have been more helpful and answered every single question we had, which made the whole thing stress-free. Our pup was clean, well-socialised, and full of energy when we brought it home. The puppy came home healthy and vet-checked, which gave us real peace of mind. A truly lovely experience from start to finish, thank you!

Delivery Questions, Answered

Is delivery really free, island-wide?

Yes. Home delivery is free anywhere in Singapore with every puppy, and it includes the playpen setup and the starter-kit walkthrough. It is all inside the $2,888 to $4,488 price, with no delivery surcharge for any district.

How long do the delivery and setup take?

Plan for about an hour. Setup comes first, so your puppy walks into a ready space, then we go through the 30+ starter-kit items with you. It runs longer if you have questions, and questions are the point of us being there.

Can I collect my puppy from the shop instead?

Of course. Collection from our Balestier shop works too; you still take the full starter kit home, and we run the same item-by-item walkthrough at the shop before you leave.

How long can you board my puppy after the deposit?

Until you are ready. After your deposit, boarding is free with lodging and food covered. Renovation overruns and booked trips are the usual reasons, and we simply plan the delivery date around them.

What paperwork comes with the puppy at delivery?

Health records, vaccination records, and microchip details come with your puppy. Dog licensing is completed with our assistance at the point of purchase, so by delivery day the paperwork side is already in order.

What should I do in the first 24 hours after delivery?

Keep it calm. Let your puppy explore the set-up playpen at its own pace, feed the same food at fixed times, hold off on visitors, and expect some whimpering on night one; it is adjustment, not distress, and it passes.
